        <summary type="html"><![CDATA[Het Open Trip Model is oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld om zogenaamde executie data uit te wisselen met control towers. Inmiddels is OTM door diverse bedrijven en projecten toegepast en is gebleken dat het model geschikt is voor veel bredere inzet in de logistieke sector. Zo hebben gemeenten en wegbeheerders logistieke data (voertuig beperkingen, venstertijden, etc.) via OTM beschikbaar gesteld aan belanghebbenden, zoals transportplanners.]]></summary>

In this article, Bart Kummel -cofounder of OTM- explains why this was such an important step and why OTM will play an important role in further optimizing and automating logistics processes. He also explains why he thinks we’ll see more and more parties implementing OTM in their product in the near future.]]></summary>
